Hiring the Southport Bijou Cinema

The Southport Bijou Cinema has a range of Hire Options.

On the ground level is the Bijou Auditorium; a raked, comfortable 75-seat cinema, featuring a dynamic digital projector and 5.1 surround speaker system for the best sound possible!

This is home to our daily film screenings and our monthly Stand Up comedy nights, but is also available for hire and for private screenings, with the capability to project BluRay, DVD and laptop/HDMI presentations catering to all of your different technical needs.

Providing a date is available and nothing is already scheduled, the Bijou is happy to host kid’s or adult parties to watch their favourite movies!

The Bijou Lounge hosts regular gigs, The Bijou Sessions, with tickets available in advance.

Upstairs is The Bijou Lounge; a spacious function room – accessible by a platform life on the ground floor and home to our regular Bijou Sessions gigs. The Lounge is an amenable space with the options for the tables and chairs to be moved into different configurations, and is suitable for hire for everything from gigs and music events, to birthday and wedding celebrations.

Just hired the Auditorium to watch a film with your little ones? The Lounge is perfect to then take them upstairs to continue the party with food, music and games! It must be noted that The Bijou does not provide catering.

We ask that hiring parties use our bar, but are happy for you to bring in outside catering, buffets you make yourself, or even order pizzas or a takeaway!

Also upstairs are refurbished male and female toilets.
